Biography
Guillermo Valencia-Palomo was born in Merida, Mexico, in 1980. He received his Engineering degree in Electronics from the TecNM-IT Mérida in 2003, his M.Sc. degree in Automatic Control from CENIDET in 2006, and his Ph.D. degree in Automatic Control and Systems Engineering from the University of Sheffield, U.K. in 2010.
Since 2010, he has been a Full-time (Tenured) Professor at the Tecnológico Nacional de México-IT Hermosillo. He is the author/co-author of over 70 research papers published in JCR-indexed journals and several international conferences.
He has led numerous funded research projects, including sole investigator funding and collaborative grants from industry. His research interests focus on predictive control, linear parameter varying systems, fault detection, and their applications to various physical systems.
